Tip: order on a laptop or desktop if you can. It's much easier than doing it on your phone.

I'm Lis Tyroler of Little Wild Light, and I was your school photographer this year. Returning to IMS is always a little bit of a homecoming - my own kids went here, and this school still has a piece of my heart. I hope you love these photos as much as I love this place and your children.

Before you go in, one quick thing.

Model Release and Consent

Short version: this form only controls whether I may use your child's image in my portfolio, website, or social media. Choosing No changes nothing about your gallery or your order. Every family gets the full gallery either way. I respect your privacy and will never use your child's image without your permission.

Full statement: The client grants Lis Tyroler of Little Wild Light and its legal representatives and assigns the right to use and publish images and photographs taken at your session to further promote its services, including portfolio, website, display, advertisement, social media, print, and editorial use, unless otherwise discussed beforehand. Little Wild Light may revoke this license at any time for any reason. Little Wild Light retains all copyrights to the images and derivative works thereof.

How This Works

  1. Look first, buy later. Your child's full gallery is already in there. You see everything before you spend a dime.

  2. Order only what you love. No minimum purchase, ever. There's a tab at the top of the gallery that lets you bypass packages entirely and buy single prints or digitals a la carte.

  3. Order by October 11th. I batch-order all prints together to keep your prices low, so print ordering ends at midnight on the deadline.

  4. Pickup at school. All print orders are delivered to the school unless you pay for shipping to your home separately. Digitals are delivered by email.

IMS receives 15% of every purchase. Ordering photos here is also a school fundraiser!

The gallery images look a little soft and light. That's the watermark. Your final images arrive crisp and clean.

Horizontal images can be cropped vertical. Every horizontal image can be cropped to a classic vertical school-photo crop using the crop feature at checkout. And if you're framing something big like a 20x30, landscape usually wears better on a wall anyway.

Glasses glare or giant booboo? I've got you. I usually handle glare with angles during the session - I never ask a child to remove their glasses. If a few shots still have some glare, email me and I'll send them out for editing.

Every image is your actual kid. I don't use AI to generate or swap faces. What you see is what your child and I made together.

Some galleries are bigger than others. Some kids give me all the faces - dancing, giggling, soulful stares. Some kids show me one quiet expression and tell me, in their own way, that they're done. I give you everything I've got. A bigger gallery isn't a better kid, and a small one isn't a worse one.

  • Studio-quality portraits on a simple, neutral backdrop with soft, flattering light. No forced "say cheese," no laser-beam gym lighting, no theme backdrops. The result is a timeless image that's worthy of wall art - and still works for the grandma-fridge 4x6.

  • It keeps my prices competitive with much bigger companies. You pick your favorites, then choose a package or go a la carte. And 15% of profits go right back to the school.

  • More printing options for you. Crop any horizontal image to a vertical school-photo style at checkout, or keep it horizontal for wall art.

  • I believe in authenticity, and I believe your child is perfect exactly the way they are. I don't tell kids to say cheese. We sing songs, we make jokes, sometimes we dance. Some kids are all silly faces, some kids are pure soul, and I deeply love both. If a photo shows your child being themselves on a regular Tuesday, that's the photo I was after.

    Also, please remember that I have between 30 seconds and 2 minutes per child. We do the best we can!

  • International Montessori School does not offer retakes, but if you contact me, I can offer a couple of studio dates.

  • See "Good to Know" above - it's about how much each kid wanted to give me that day, and both answers are normal.

    I delete derp faces, out of focus images, and most photos that are entirely out of the frame. That said, sometimes I include some photos that definitely aren’t framers because I think they are adorable or tell the story of the brief time I had with your child.
